Not a film. A finish.
Lumax LPPF® is sprayed on the same way a traditional clear coat is applied, then cures into one seamless, invisible layer. No film, no edges, no seams — just a tougher finish.
- Outstanding impact resistance
- Flexible — moves with your panels
- Chemical resistance
- Self-healing fluoropolymer
Bonds that let go — and come back.
LPPF® is a self-healing fluoropolymer built on reversible hydrogen bonds. When a light scratch breaks them, they re-form across the gap.
Film can degrade.
LPPF® heals.

How LPPF® goes on.
Every LPPF® install is sprayed by certified Crash Champions paint technicians, like a factory clear coat, not applied by a detailer.
Is LPPF® a film?+
No. LPPF® is applied as a liquid and cures into a seamless clear layer over your factory clear coat — there are no film edges to lift or peel.
Will it change how my paint looks?+
LPPF® is crystal clear and enhances gloss.
How long does it last?+
Every LPPF® install is backed by a 15-year warranty. No inspections are required to keep it.
Can it go on an older car?+
Yes. LPPF® is applied over cured paint, newer or aged — your installer adjusts surface prep to your finish.
How long will my car be at the shop?+
The coating is cured in the booth, so most vehicles are ready the same or next day. Your center will confirm your pickup time.
What if it gets damaged?+
Light scratches heal on their own. Deeper damage won’t heal on its own and isn’t covered by the warranty, but LPPF® is 100% repairable.
